Junior DevOps Developer


As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will work with our experienced team to develop and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in the deployment and operation of various systems, ensuring their availability, scalability, and security. Your responsibilities will include automating processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of DevOps development. This is a full-time position based in Braga, Portugal with a salary of $1100 per month. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)
- Understanding of networking concepts (e.g. TCP/IP)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and processes

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure smooth integration between development and operations
- Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures for our infrastructure
- Maintain documentation for processes and procedures
- Continuously research new technologies and propose improvements to current processes
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support when necessary
