Junior Data Mining Analyst


We are currently hiring a Junior Data Mining Analyst to join our growing team in Braga. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data to identify patterns and trends that can improve business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in data mining and analysis, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use data mining tools and techniques to extract insights and identify patterns
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in data mining and analytics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in SQL and database management systems
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
- Experience using data mining tools such as RapidMiner or KNIME is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary: $1400 per month

Accommodation: Accommodation can be provided for candidates relocating from outside of Braga.
