As a CNC Turner in our company located in Braga, Portugal, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications. You will use your knowledge of precision machining techniques and experience with biometric passports to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the production process. Your attention to detail and ability to read technical blueprints will be essential in creating finished products that meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision turning operations on a variety of materials
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production of parts
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or materials, making necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following standard procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC turning machines
- Experience with biometric passports or other precision machining techniques preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
