Entry-Level Turner in Braga, Portugal



We are hiring for an Entry-Level Turner to join our team in Braga, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of turning machinery to produce high-quality metal components.

As an Entry-Level Turner, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We welcome candidates without prior experience but with a strong interest in the field of turning and a willingness to learn. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain turning machinery according to safety guidelines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine specifications for components
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of machining concepts and tools (training will be provided)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude

Preferred:
- Previous experience in machining or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
