Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural design, construction techniques, and preservation methods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop preservation plans and recommend appropriate strategies for preserving the historical integrity of buildings
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Oversee construction work to ensure it adheres to preservation standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies involved in preservation projects
- Stay up-to-date on new preservation techniques and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction methods
- Proven track record of successful preservation projects
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings and specifications
