Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in Braga, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. You will also collaborate with teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that preservation projects are completed with the highest standards of quality and authenticity. This job is suitable for men who are passionate about preserving cultural heritage and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation measures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to implement preservation plans
- Oversee the restoration process and ensure that all work is completed according to the highest standards of quality
- Research historical significance of buildings and structures to inform preservation decisions
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including budgets, timelines, and progress reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Previous experience in preservation or restoration projects is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of historical building materials, construction techniques, and architectural styles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from various disciplines
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of work
- Ability to work full-time in Braga with visa sponsorship if necessary
