Senior Architect - Braga, Portugal
We are currently hiring a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects, from residential buildings to commercial structures. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the client's specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for various projects, including creating initial concepts and developing detailed plans
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for the project
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors
- Review project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure that all building codes and regulations are followed during the design process
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates on project status
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations in Portugal
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with others
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
