Fitter - Contract Position in Braga, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team on a contract basis in the bustling city of Braga, Portugal. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing various mechanical equipment and structures, such as pipes and valves, using tools and equipment according to specifications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble or repair mechanical components
- Inspect and test installed equipment for proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or systems
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent physical strength and stamina

Salary: 1300$ per month.
