Executive Chef - Braga, Portugal
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Braga, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes, as well as a strong background in managing kitchen operations and leading a team.
Responsibilities:
- Create and plan menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and control costs to maintain budgetary targets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Creative mindset with a focus on quality and presentation
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
