Job Title: Crane Operator in Braga - Contract Position


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes according to safety standards and manufacturer's instructions
- Inspect crane equipment before and after use, reporting any defects or malfunctions
- Communicate with ground crew and ensure proper rigging of loads
- Safely lift, move, and position materials using different types of cranes (such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, or overhead cranes)
- Follow lifting plans and signals from the signal person or supervisor
- Monitor weather conditions and stop operations if necessary
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and maintenance logs
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid crane operator license/certification (if required by local regulations)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating different types of cranes on construction sites
- Excellent knowledge of crane operations, safety protocols, and load capacities
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and work at heights
- Ability to read blueprints and follow lifting plans/signal instructions effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work different shifts/overtime as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

This position is located in Braga.
