Merchandiser for Retail Store in Braga, Portugal


We are a fast-growing retail store in Braga, Portugal seeking a dedicated and organized Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store is visually appealing and well-stocked at all times. Your attention to detail and ability to understand consumer behavior will be crucial in driving sales and creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the overall look and feel of the store
- Regularly visit the store to assess inventory levels, ensure proper product placement, and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with the buying team to plan and execute product displays based on seasonal trends and promotions
- Monitor sales performance of different products and make recommendations to optimize sales
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and customer feedback for reporting purposes
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques and provide guidance on maintaining displays
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Salary:
The salary for this full-time position is $1500 per month.

This position is based in Braga, Portugal.
