Junior Merchandiser - Braga, Portugal

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team in all aspects of product selection, sourcing, and development. You will assist in analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions on product assortment and pricing strategies. Additionally, you will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and maintain inventory levels. Responsibilities:
- Assist in selecting and sourcing products for the company’s merchandise
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform product assortment decisions
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies
- Support the merchandising team in developing pricing strategies
- Communicate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to stay updated on market trends
- Conduct research on competitors’ products and pricing strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, fashion merchandising or related field (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong interest in fashion industry trends
- Biometric passport (preferred)
