Housekeeping and Cleaning Specialist

A reputable hotel in Braga is seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeping and Cleaning Specialist to join our team. As a Housekeeping and Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities according to company standards. This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
- Change bed linens and towels as needed
- Stock and replenish amenities in guest rooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while handling cleaning chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Assist with laundry duties as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping or cleaning role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, handling, and disposal methods
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail with a high standard for cleanliness
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Braga, Portugal (accommodation not provided)
