Hotel Sales Manager - Braga, Portugal
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Braga, Portugal. Your main goal will be to increase occupancy and revenue through effective sales strategies and partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Identify potential new markets and develop relationships with key accounts
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to secure business for the hotel
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and packages to attract new customers
- Manage relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and tour operators
- Conduct site visits, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events to promote the hotel
- Monitor competitors' rates and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
- Train and mentor the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to achieve targets
- Prepare regular sales reports for management review
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is required
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
- Strong knowledge of local market trends and competitors' activities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must be willing to work full-time in Braga, Portugal
