Job Title: IT Manager - Porto, Portugal


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Manager to join our dynamic team in Porto. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This is a key leadership role, requiring a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the company's goals and objectives
- Manage and maintain all IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and security
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulations
- Lead the IT team, providing guidance, training, and support to team members
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for updates or improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, networking, security protocols
- Experience with biometric passport systems is highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
