IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients who are experiencing computer hardware, software, or network issues. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer service. This is a contract position located in Porto with a salary of 900$. Accommodation will not be provided, and all candidates must have a valid biometric passport. Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email or in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software or network systems
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and networks
- Train clients on basic computer functions and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and solutions provided
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring technical issues and develop solutions
- Keep up-to-date with new technology trends and advancements in the industry

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients
- Experience working with remote desktop tools and troubleshooting remote access issues is preferred
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, antivirus software
- Certification in relevant IT fields is preferred
- Must have a valid biometric passport
