Senior JAVA Developer

As a Senior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with project managers and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your expertise in JAVA development will be crucial in developing high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing software solutions using JAVA technologies
- Collaborating with project managers and other developers to gather requirements and create technical specifications
- Writing efficient, maintainable, and high-quality code
- Troubleshooting and debugging code to fix issues in a timely manner
- Participating in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed
- Conducting performance testing and making necessary optimizations
- Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in JAVA development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in JAVA development
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Experience with web services (REST/SOAP), databases (Oracle/MySQL), and version control systems (Git/SVN)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular or React
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure

Location: Porto, Portugal
Salary: $1200 per month
