Android Developer
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team in Porto. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You must have a strong understanding of the Android platform, as well as experience with Java and other relevant programming languages. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Additionally, we offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates who require it.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test mobile applications
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues
- Ensure code quality through testing and debugging
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the Android platform
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions
- Work independently or within a team to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Java and other relevant programming languages (Kotlin, C++, etc.)
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred:
- Experience developing native applications for both smartphones and tablets
- Familiarity with design patterns such as MVVM or MVP
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for mobile development
- Experience working with remote data sources (REST APIs, JSON)
- Understanding of version control systems (Git)
Salary: $1000 per month
