IOS Developer


We are a fast-growing tech company in Porto, seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our native iOS applications. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences and innovative solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in iOS development, strong knowledge of Swift and Objective-C programming languages, and a passion for creating cutting-edge mobile applications. Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Work with external data sources and API's
- Unit-test code for robustness including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously improve code quality through code reviews

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in iOS development
- Strong knowledge of Swift and Objective-C programming languages
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Experience with offline storage (e.g. Core Data) is a plus
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Xcode Server or Jenkins is a plus
- Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively
and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
