Junior Information Security Analyst


A leading technology company in Porto is seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join their team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as an eagerness to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of information security protocols and procedures
- Monitor networks for potential security breaches and investigate any incidents
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
- Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks
- Provide training and support to employees on information security best practices
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies
- Familiarity with various operating systems, networking concepts, and databases
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Certification in information security (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP) is a plus
