Data Mining Specialist



We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Specialist to join our growing team in Porto. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data mining strategies to extract relevant information from large datasets
- Identify patterns and trends in data to support business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights through data analysis
- Build and maintain databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Develop algorithms and statistical models for data mining processes
- Perform quality control checks on data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R programming languages
- Experience with data mining tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Porto, Portugal. However, we welcome candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate.
