Data Mining Analyst


We are looking for a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights to support our business objectives. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month and includes benefits such as free visa and ticket.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize various data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain data mining models and algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Proven experience in data mining or related field
- Proficiency in SQL, R or Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or a related field
- Experience with machine learning techniques such as clustering, classification, regression
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
