Data Mining Analyst - Porto, Portugal (Contract)


We are a dynamic and fast-paced data analysis firm looking for a skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Porto, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends, and provide valuable insights to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced data mining techniques to extract and analyze data from various sources
- Develop and maintain databases for storing and organizing large amounts of data
- Identify relevant variables and perform statistical analysis to uncover insights
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement data mining processes
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data mining or related field
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and identify patterns in complex datasets
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS, SPSS or Tableau preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1300$ per month.

Location:
The role will be based in Porto, Portugal. Please note that this position does not include accommodation.
