Job Title: Typesetter (Porto, Portugal)


We are currently seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Porto, Portugal. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting text and images for print and digital publications. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications using publishing software
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and layout
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure visual consistency
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typographical principles and design aesthetics
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Degree in Graphic Design, Journalism or related field (preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 USD per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Relocation assistance is not provided, so we prefer candidates who are already located in Porto or willing to relocate at their own expense.
