We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing company in Porto. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in a visually appealing manner for books, magazines, and other printed materials. Your attention to detail and strong layout skills will be essential in creating high-quality publications.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text, images, and graphics for various publications
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the document
- Proofread content for errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Use software programs such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress to create layouts
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography principles and design elements
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text or layout
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1700$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Porto. Relocation assistance is not provided so preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Porto.

Accommodation:
This job does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements.

We offer free visa processing and ticket for selected candidates who need it. However, preference will also be given to candidates who already have the necessary documentation to work in Porto.
