The Typesetter will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print or digital publications. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of typography and design principles. The ideal candidate will have experience using typesetting software such as InDesign or QuarkXPress and a portfolio showcasing their previous work.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images to create visually appealing layouts for print or digital publications
- Collaborate with editors, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets project requirements
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy and consistency in formatting
- Manipulate images to improve quality or fit within layout specifications
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in typesetting or a similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout design, and color theory
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
