Part-time Moderator

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Part-time Moderator for our online community in Porto, Portugal. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing user activity on our platform to ensure compliance with our community guidelines. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user activity on our platform and ensure compliance with community guidelines
- Review and moderate user-generated content, including comments, posts, and images
- Respond to user inquiries and escalate any issues to the appropriate team members
- Maintain a positive and engaging online community atmosphere by promoting respectful communication and addressing any inappropriate behavior
- Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging discussion topics and generate user participation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for online community management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Fluent in Portuguese; proficiency in English is a plus
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle difficult situations with sensitivity and professionalism
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Previous experience as a moderator or in customer service is preferred but not required
