Painter (Contract, Porto)


We are currently seeking an experienced Painter to join our team on a contract basis in Porto. This role is suitable for men who have a passion for painting and are looking to further their skills and experience in this field.

As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, furniture, and other structures. Your main duties will include sanding, priming, mixing paints, applying coats of paint, and ensuring the quality of your work meets our company's standards.

The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 2 years of experience as a professional painter. You should also have a strong eye for detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per month. Accommodation will be provided during the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling holes, and priming
- Mix paints to achieve desired color and texture
- Apply coats of paint using various tools such as brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Ensure smooth application and finish by checking for drips or imperfections
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Communicate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional painter
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods of time and perform manual labor tasks
- Knowledge of different types of paints and their application techniques is preferred

Working Conditions:
This job requires working in various locations such as residential homes, commercial buildings, or outdoor spaces. The work may involve exposure to dust, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions. Protective gear will be provided when necessary.
