Civil Engineer (Contractor)



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Porto. As a Contractor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, designing, and implementing. You will also be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and design various civil engineering projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Oversee the selection of materials and equipment needed for each project
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals involved in the project to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor progress of construction work and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes during construction
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that work meets required standards
- Prepare reports on project progress for clients and stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software programs
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
