As an Equipment Operator in Porto, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to perform various tasks such as excavating, loading, and moving materials. You will work primarily in construction or industrial settings, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and loaders according to job specifications and safety regulations
- Complete routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to identify any potential issues
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a trade or technical school in Heavy Equipment Operation
- Experience operating specific types of heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts
- Bilingual in English and Portuguese

Working Conditions:
