Heavy Equipment Operator


We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Porto. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duties will include safely and efficiently operating the equipment, performing routine maintenance, and following all safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and report any issues or concerns to supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to project timelines and work cooperatively with team members to complete tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and any issues that may arise
- Comply with all regulations and laws related to heavy equipment operation

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role
- Valid heavy equipment operator license or certification preferred
- Knowledge of operating various types of heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, etc.
- Familiarity with basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand construction plans/manuals
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position.

Location:
The job is located in Porto. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this position.

Visa Requirements:
Applicants must have their own valid visa/permit to work in Portugal.
