Entry-Level Truck Driver


As an Entry-Level Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and delivering goods to various locations in and around Porto. You will work closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, while also maintaining accurate records of your driving activities. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle varying road and weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations
- Load and unload goods onto the truck using proper lifting techniques
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing fuel efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of working hours, mileage, and cargo details
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding any issues or delays
- Inspect truck before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including securing loads properly

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for commercial vehicles (CDL)
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
- Strong time management skills
- Good communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:
- Prior experience as a truck driver
- Familiarity with GPS devices for navigation

We offer competitive salary of $1200 per month plus additional benefits such as health insurance. We also provide visa sponsorship for non-local candidates. Accommodation may be provided if needed.
