Truck driver vacancy in Porto Portugal

Experienced Truck Driver

A reputable transportation company in Porto is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our fleet of trucks to transport goods from one location to another. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload cargo onto trucks
- Plan and follow the most efficient route for each trip
- Inspect trucks before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance issues
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Follow company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
- Ability to pass company's background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with refrigerated or hazardous materials transportation is a plus
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and basic mechanical skills
- Familiarity with GPS systems
