Cashier (Contract) in Porto, Portugal



As a cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently. You will also be required to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Process payments using cash, credit, or debit cards
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform cash audits as needed
- Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance when needed
- Maintain knowledge of store layout, products, and promotions to assist customers
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with bags and supplies

Requirements:
- Must have a biometric passport for legal employment in Portugal
- No prior experience is required as training will be provided on the job
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
