Executive Chef - Porto, Portugal
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Porto. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a strong background in fine dining.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design menus that reflect the restaurant's style and concept
- Supervise food preparation to ensure quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of food cost control principles
- Biometric passport preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this contract position.
