Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Porto. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency in our dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus and recipes that cater to a diverse clientele
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively
- Train and develop team members to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be fluent in English, Portuguese language skills preferred
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month. Accommodation is not provided.
