Job Title: Entry-Level Executive Chef - Porto, Portugal
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Executive Chef at our restaurant in Porto, Portugal. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the kitchen operations, creating new menu items, and ensuring high-quality food is consistently served to our guests.
Requirements:
- No previous experience as an Executive Chef is required, but culinary education or relevant coursework is preferred
- Must have a biometric passport or be willing to obtain one
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team
- Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Create new menu items that meet quality standards and reflect current food trends
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with other departments such as front of house staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Salary: $1400 per month
