Executive Chef - Temporary Position in Porto
Are you an experienced Executive Chef looking for a temporary opportunity in the vibrant city of Porto? We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to lead our kitchen team for a short-term project. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing a team of culinary professionals. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain efficient operations
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality throughout all dishes
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new ideas for menu items or special promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
