Restaurant Manager (Seasonal, Porto)

As a Restaurant Manager in our seasonal establishment in Porto, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, managing and motivating staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. Your primary goal will be to ensure the overall success of the restaurant by maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service. You should have previous experience in a similar role, strong leadership skills, and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal position with a salary of 900$, without accommodation but with visa sponsorship available for non-EU candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and budget management.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Train and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
- Address any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items or make adjustments as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve the restaurant's offerings.
- Adhere to all health code regulations and safety guidelines.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting, inventory management, and cost control techniques.
- Familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
