Entry-Level Restaurant Manager
As an Entry-Level Restaurant Manager in Porto, your main responsibility will be to assist the senior management team in running the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the food and beverage industry and looking to start their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, food and beverage quality, customer service, and financial performance
- Train and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food service
- Create weekly schedules for staff based on business needs
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data and implementing cost control measures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus
- Previous experience in a customer service or supervisory role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month. We also offer opportunities for growth within our company.
