Our library in Porto is looking for an experienced and dedicated Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and organizing events and programs to promote literacy and education.

We are seeking a highly organized individual with a strong passion for literature and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a library or similar setting, as well as a degree in Library Science or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, shelving, and maintaining inventory
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide reference services

- Ensure the library is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
- Train volunteers or interns as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of library classification systems and information retrieval methods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
