We are hiring a passionate and dedicated Librarian to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials, as well as assisting patrons with finding and accessing information.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection by categorizing and shelving books, magazines, and other materials
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing information they need
- Create and implement programs to promote literacy and engage the community in using the library's resources
- Maintain accurate records of borrowed and returned materials
- Process new materials for circulation by cataloging and labeling them
- Monitor the library's budget for purchasing new materials
- Stay updated on new library technologies and trends to improve services
- Train library staff on how to use new technologies or resources

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to assist patrons with their needs
- Knowledge of library classification systems, cataloging procedures, and reference sources is a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies
