Entry-Level Instrument Technician


Our company is a leading provider of instrumentation services in the city of Porto, and we are seeking an Entry-Level Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining various types of instruments and equipment used in different industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and control valves
- Test instruments to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instruments or equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on projects
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to superiors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some vocational training in instrumentation or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in different industrial settings (e.g. factories, oil refineries)
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces if necessary
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at 1700$ per month with potential for growth as skills improve. We also provide visa sponsorship for non-EU candidates.

This position is based in Porto, Portugal.
