Instrument Technician
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Porto! As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This is a contract job with a salary of $1300 per month. While prior experience in a similar role is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without experience who possess the necessary technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments such as thermometers, pressure gauges, flow meters, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments to identify root causes of malfunctions
- Use various hand and power tools to perform repairs and replacements as needed
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations
- Create detailed reports on work performed and any issues encountered
- Collaborate with other team members to develop best practices for instrument maintenance and repair
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for working in tight spaces or at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
