Merchandiser for Fashion Retail Company in Porto

We are seeking a detail-oriented and fashion-savvy Merchandiser to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, planning and executing merchandising strategies, and managing the visual presentation of our products in our retail stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fashion industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating visually appealing displays. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences
- Develop merchandising strategies that align with company goals and target audience
- Collaborate with buyers to select new products and plan inventory levels
- Create visually appealing displays that attract customers and promote sales
- Manage inventory levels to ensure products are always available for purchase
- Monitor sales data and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
- Train and supervise store staff on proper product placement and display techniques
- Maintain visual standards by regularly arranging displays and restocking products
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials for product launches

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the fashion industry
- Strong knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and retail operations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics
- Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one
- Must be able to work full-time without accommodation
