Freelance Merchandiser in Porto, Portugal



We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Freelance Merchandiser to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing product displays, inventory levels, and customer relationships for our retail clients. Your main goal will be to increase sales and maximize profitability by ensuring that products are displayed attractively and available for purchase at all times. The ideal candidate will have experience in merchandising and a strong understanding of consumer behavior. This is a contract job with own visa requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with retail clients
- Manage product displays and ensure they are visually appealing
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with clients to replenish stock as needed
- Conduct market research to stay updated on current trends and consumer preferences
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product positioning
- Collaborate with sales team to develop effective promotions and marketing strategies
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with brand standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with visual merchandising techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and spoken)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
