Carpenter in Porto, Portugal


We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate should have experience in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, etc.
- Repair damaged structures or fixtures
- Inspect equipment and tools for safety hazards
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with other carpenters or contractors on projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training will be an advantage

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.

Location:
Our company is located in Porto, Portugal. However, projects may require travel within the city or surrounding areas.
