Carpenter - Construction Worker


The Carpenter - Construction Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to building and repairing structures made of wood, steel, and other materials. This role requires a skilled individual who is able to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately. The successful candidate will have previous experience in carpentry and construction, along with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, steel, or other materials according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials needed for projects
- Install structures such as windows, frames, doors, floors, and trim using various tools including saws, drills, hammers and nails
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged or defective parts
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
- Ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality standards

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or construction
- Proficient in reading blueprints and following instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Must have own tools (preferred)
