Skilled Carpenter


A skilled carpenter is needed to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a skilled carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, etc.
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Ensure that all work is done according to building codes and safety regulations
- Work with a variety of tools including saws, hammers, drills, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter (at least 3 years)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, bending, lifting heavy objects
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Porto.

Accommodation:
This position does not offer accommodation. Applicants must have their own housing arrangements in Porto.

Experience Required:
At least 3 years of experience as a carpenter is required for this position.

Freshers Allowed:
This position is open to experienced candidates only. Freshers without any prior experience will not be considered.
