Entry-Level Mason in Porto, Portugal


We are in search of an entry-level mason to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other materials. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or other specifications to determine materials required and layout of structure
- Measure and cut materials to the required size using hand or power tools
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels or other tools
- Lay bricks, stones, or other materials in horizontal rows according to design plans
- Use levels, rulers, plumb bobs, and string lines to ensure structures are straight and level
- Repair cracks or damaged areas on existing structures using appropriate techniques
- Clean and polish surfaces of finished work using brushes or other tools

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in masonry is not required but is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one if not a Portuguese citizen
